Express FC may lose the race to sign defender Fred Okot after a rival in URA FC joins the quest, this website has learnt.
Okot is a free agent, and a hot cake on the market, after his contract with Vipers ended.
The right back was signed by Vipers with high hopes in June 2018 as a replacement for Nicholas Wadada but injuries limited his time at Kitende.
Sources indicate that URA are now interested in recapturing the right back who left the club in 2018.
He has played for Kireka United and Lweza FC among other clubs.
Okot has been on radar of Express FC, a club that released 18 players on Thursday.
It has also emerged that the Red Eagles are looking to lure Ambrose Kirya, Godfrey Lwesibawa and Ivan Eyam to Wankulukuku.
