Midfielder Amir Kakomo Zaake is in advanced talks with StarTimes UPL side URA FC.
Kakomo was one of the most outstanding players last season but his contract with SC Villa has expired.
His agent Geoffrey Kayemba Solo has exclusively told this website that the player may join URA FC next season if all goes to plan.
It is said that other league clubs Express and BUL FC are also interested in Kakomo’s services while SC Villa may also table an improved contract.
Kakomo played 21 of 25 league games for the Jogoos last season as the side finished third in a season that was ended due to Covid19, finishing behind champions Vipers and KCCA.
Kakomo was on the verge of joining KCCA FC where he signed a contract before the deal fell through.
He is a product of Namasuba Juventus and also played for Kiboga Young. Kakomo, who played for Uganda Martyrs in 2017 University Football League, has featured for Ssingo, Buwekula and Gomba in Masaza Cup.
