Express FC captain Dissan Galiwango has called for calmness from his fans about after reports linked the player to Vipers SC.
Earlier, a source at KCCA FC had reported that the Express FC captain was in advanced talks to join the club, but negotiations later hit a dead end.
This week, it has been said that Galiwango has signed a two-year contract with Kitende based Vipers.
“Treat everything as rumours,” Galiwango told his fans during a Facebook live on Tuesday night.
“My new club will be the one to unveil me in case I sign anywhere. My work is to play football because I am a player. I cannot unveil myself.”
The left back was used in a front-three as Express employed a 4-3-3 formation last season and he managed to score six goals and made three assists for the league.
New Express FC Chief Executive Isaac Mwesigwa had assured the fans that Galiwango was going to stay at Wankulukuku and went to add that the player had signed a two-year contract with the club.
It is said that Galiwango received Sh15M from Club Chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka and an agreement was reached between the two parties, but it is not known whether the player put pen to paper.
