Vipers attacking midfielder cum forward Abram Ndugwa has revealed the funniest player on the team.
In an interview with Vipers website, Ndugwa named midfielder Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye.
“Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye makes my training days lively,” the former Masavu player stated.
“He can silence any player with his banter. Quite a cheeky fellow. I even try to avoid him at times, to prevent him turning the jokes on me.”
When asked which player everyone should watch out for next season, Ndugwa named himself and added Umar Kyebatula as well, adding that the striker has an eye for goal.
The player said that he has been greatly affected by the Covid19-induced lockdown but he always reserves time to undertake personal training routines.
Ndugwa, known for his trademark ‘hearts’ goal celebration, explained that the gesture is for all the special people in his life including his fans that have supported him through tough days.
He also expressed desire for architecture drawing and owning a farm.
When asked to name one interesting thing he did this previous season, he revealed:
“The looped pass for Tito Okello in the Pilsner Super 8 semifinal against Mbarara City for the equaliser. We actually conceded during the last 15 minutes after dominating the game for so long and I told Zaga (Frank Tumwesigye); “’we can’t lose this just play close to me.” He gave me the ball which I chipped for Tito who coolly finished it off and helped book our place in the final.”
