Bright Anukani in action for Proline. John Batanudde.
KCCA FC are closing in on the acquisition of Proline FC’s exciting midfielder Bright Anukani.
If the deal comes to pass, Anukani will become KCCA FC’s third signing of the season after Charles Lwanga and Ashraf Mugume who were unveiled on June 14.
Anukani has been on KCCA’s radar and a source has told this website that the deal is all but done.
Earlier, Proline FC director Mujib Kasule revealed that they have received many offers for Anukani from various clubs including KCCA.
It is said that the agent of Anukani was plotting for a deal in South Africa which has since hit a dead end.
Joining KCCA FC, Anukani will be a direct replacement for sensational Allan Okello who joined Algeria’s Paradou AC.
The deal to KCCA will also suit the youngster in terms of playing style and the right atmosphere at the club which enables player development, among others.
Anukani started his career in Proline’s Youth academy and has played for Uganda Cranes in CHAN and CECAFA tourneys.
