Dissan Galiwango has revealed the reason why he joined Vipers SC from Express FC.
The Express Captain was unveiled by the Venoms and signed a four-year deal.
The deal has however been disapproved by Express FC Chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka who claims that they have not released or transferred the player to Vipers.
In his interview with the club website, Galiwango also stated that he wants to use the Vipers platform to fulfill his dream of playing professional football.
“First and foremost, l have roots here and further to that, its quite an enticing environment which every player would love to play in, all the necessary facilities for development of talent, are available,” Galiwango said.
“When a club like Vipers shows interest in a player, its such a good feeling because its a big club and with Dr Lawrence Mulindwa who has nurtured many players at the helm, it becomes even more appealing to any footballer.”
He said that the fans should expect a more developed player from the one who played for Express, as he prepares to top the competition for a starting place.
“Vipers is a winning team, therefore I want to continue with the same spirit in a bid to achieve more silverware with the club,” Galiwango added.
“Secondly, l want to help the club perform better in the Caf Champions League as l also use the same platform to achieve my professional football dreams.”
This will be Galiwango’s second spell with Fred Kajoba who was also his coach at Simba.
“He (Kajoba) trusted me with my first top flight league licence while at Simba just at the age of 16. So, can’t wait to rekindle the Bombo memories.”
