Police FC have announced the signing of defender Hassan Muhamood on a two-year deal.

The player was unveiled on Tuesday with Club chairperson AIGP Asan Kasingye and CEO Fahad Lumu present at the Naguru offices.

Muhamood played for Express and SC Villa before moving to Onduparaka FC.

“I am so happy to join police FC, its a new challenge, and I am going to do my best so that we can get Police back to the top,” he said.

Muhamood, whose contract had expired with the Caterpillars, was linked to Express, Kyetume and Wakiso Giants.

He becomes the second signing for Police who unveiled experienced Tonny Mawejje on Monday.

Police FC, coached by Abdallah Mubiru, were 13th with 25 points when the league was ended because of Covid19 pandemic.

The side won the league in 2005 and are assembling a team to regain the lost glory.
