Wakiso Giants’ Ivan Ssebuguzi has set lofty targets ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Ssebuguzi has come through a difficult spell at Wakiso due to injuries.
The midfielder has now vowed to win trophies under the tutorship of new head coach Douglas Bamweyana
“First of all I want to thank the management of the purple sharks for the opportunity granted to me playing in the topflight even though I didn’t reach my targets as a player last season,” Ssebuguzi told this website.
“I have learnt a lot from the experienced players with me at the club and that’s my best career moment playing in the Uganda premier league with a club of a status like Wakiso Giants.”
The midfielder has revealed that he is working hard for next season.
“I want next season to be termed as mine and representing my nation will be a dream come true.
“I expect to do a lot for the club in winning tittles be it the league tittle or Uganda cup under the influence of the new head coach so we can also represent the nation on the continent and as well as growing my career as a player “
Ssebuguzi has also featured for regional league side Kyanja FC and Kampala University in the University League.
