“We are still in the market,” Ssekajja assured fans while appearing on CBS hosted by David Lumansi.

“Meanwhile, you should get prepared for the few we have signed so far because they are going to make you enjoy football, we have at least worked on every department.

“We are still working on those other departments where we feel there are gaps and by the time we happen to get out of the market, you will be able to feel us.”

Ssekajja also issued a warning to those who are “doubting” the Italian Mazengo’s talent, commenting that they should expect the best from the new signing.

“For those who doubt Mazengo, you will see him, its not good to speak for a player but people have said a lot of negatives about him.

“The fact is Mazengo has been our structure because he was once here, he trained with us before. Those who will play against him should get prepared because he has much to offer, and he will make headlines.”

KCCA FC completed negotiations with Maroons FC star Pius Obuya according to sources, and are still linked to Pius Obuya, Steven Mukwala, Andrew Kigozi, Ibrahim Mugulusi and Brian Aheebwa.

“We will have any player if the right time comes because we are still in market,” Ssekajja commented on speculations.

“We are still searching for a number nine (9, Striker) which the fans need, the one we expect that he will work for us in-front, but again we also have those who can do it as well, say like Ssenyonjo who I think that he has a special talent.”

However, KCCA FC have lost a couples of players in the ongoing window including their big gun Mustafa Kizza who is joining Montreal Impact, Eric Ssenjobe, Jackson Nunda, Mike Mutyaba and Tom Ikara.

Saddam Juma has revealed that he is on for a new challenge, Muzamir Mutyaba, Jamil Malyamungu, Erisa Ssekisambu and Nicholas Kasozi are some of the other players who are reportedly leaving Mike Mutebi’s side.

The 2018/19 league winners finished second last season behind champions Vipers and will be expected to come hungrier next season where they will also be taking part in CAF Confederation Cup.
