Express FC attacker Frank Ssenyondo is hoping to better last season’s numbers.
Playing in his first season in top flight, Ssenyondo scored eight goals and five assists in 25 appearances for Express.
The former Teronova player, explained how he joined Express FC:
“I came over to Wankulukuku for trials and was selected then subsequently signed for the new season,” Ssenyondo told Express website.
“Honestly, the stage was big but I believed in myself. As a player you have to jump at the available opportunity and I did just that and proved myself.”
His top performance saw Ssenyondo score, off the bench, the lone goal against Onduparaka in Arua.
“I am hoping to surpass last season’s numbers, I want to register double digits and help the team,” he stated.
Ssenyondo formed a strong attacking trio with Frank Kalanda and Dissan Galiwango as the Red Eagles finished 9th on the log.
