Joseph Otieno: Ugandan Switches Clubs In Burundi

Ugandan footballer Joseph Otieno has moved from Lydia Ludic Burundi Académic Football Club to giants Musongati FC.

Otieno leaves LLB S4A after the side were relegated last season to the second tier.

In Uganda, Otieno has also featured for UPDF FC and Ntamityobora.

Musongati FC are beefing up their squad to represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The side finished second – for the second straight season – last season with 56 points behind Champions Le Messager Ngozi.

They won the Burundi Cup recently to earn a ticket to the Continent.

They have bought other stars like Nduwayo Isaac (Inter Star), Assuman Ntahobari (Vital’o Fc), Akimana Tresor (Buja City), Ndizeye Seifu Thomson (Vital’o FC), Wilondja Ismail (Rukinzo FC), Tarack Tharcisse ( Ngozi City).
