Ntugamo-based Lions Sports Academy has confirmed Kyosha Electronics as their second shirt sponsor.
Kyosha Electronics has signed a 3-year partnership with the academy – The deal worth Sh6m will see Kyosha give sh2m every year to Lions Sports Academy.
Academy’s CEO and founder Ronald Alonso Nuwasiima commended Kyosha for the support and called on for more sponsors to come on board.
He expressed his commitment to continue changing the livelihoods of the youth in the community as they target to be the leading youth football project in East Africa.
The academy earlier unveiled SAP General Hardware in June this year, as their first shirt sponsor.
These timely packages come at a crucial time after football governing body in the country, FUFA, deregistered all academies and put new strict guidelines for the owners to apply for the licenses.
Also, the academy recently held a meeting at Hotel Trendzy where they approved a Sh30m for the 2020/21 Financial year budget , and unveiled Umalo Turyamusiima as the new fans president.
Formed in March 2018, the academy has projects for ages under 8, 12, 14, 17 and 20 years.
