Uganda Premier League record winners have confirmed signing youngster Geoffrey Goffin Oyirwoth.
The promising midfielder has inked his stay at Villa until 2022.
The 20-year old, who joins after a spell with Katwe United in FUFA Big League, becomes Villa’s third signing of the season.
“I have always wanted to be part of this great club and now that my opportunity has arrived, I will serve with pride and honour,” Goffin said.
“I can promise Jogoo fans that when the season starts we (the team) will make them proud. I am glad to be part of the Jogoos legacy and I am happy to have teammates who’ve welcomed me so well.”
Coach Edward Kaziba has said that Goffin is the player he has been following for a while and will add value to the team.
The Jogoos who finished third last season have recently unveiled goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige and Andrew Kiwanuka.
Goffin started his football career at Super Heroes United Academy and also started at Buddo SS.
He joined Express before in 2019, signing a three-year contract, before leaving due to limited playing time under coach George Ssimwogerere.
