Regional league side Nebbi Central has protested Onduparaka’s signing of their player Jerry Jakisa.
The Caterpillars, on Sunday, confirmed signing Jakisa from Nebbi Central FC on a two-year deal.
The lower division side claim that they have not sold their player to Onduparaka after learning the move on social media.
“Following Onduparaka’s Confirmation of Jakisa Jerry’s alleged signing on their official social media platforms, we would like to clarify as follow: As the players current Club , we don’t know of any such deal and we have only come to learn about it on social media,” Nebbi central noted.
“We urge Onduparaka FC to act in a way that reflects their status as a professional entity.”
Nebbi Central have asked an apology from Onduparaka before any round table discussion.
“We therefore demand an apology from Onduparaka for damaging our name before any round table discussion can be held.
“The Player in question will also be subjected to our internal disciplinary processes.”
