Midfielder Brian Nkuubi leads a number of players who have left Vipers SC before the start of 2020/21 season.
Nkuubi has confirmed his exit from Vipers on his Facebook account adding that he shall “keep the memories forever.“
Nkuubi ends his five-year stay at the club he joined from Kira Young.
He renewed his two-year contract in 2018 before expiry, and is now a major target for URA FC.
Close sources at the club have told The-SportsNation that left back Farouk Musisi and Frank Zaga Tumwesigye have been released.
Goalkeeper Derrick Ochan, Dan Birikwalira and Abram Ndugwa have also confirmed their exits via Social media on Thursday.
Musisi joined the Kitende-based side last year from Zambian team Konkola Blades on a three-year deal but he failed to command playing minutes ahead of Aziz Kayondo.
Musisi, who was sent off against Tooro United last season, had a bleak future at the club following the addition of Galiwango and presence of Dan Birikwalira.
Zaga on the other hand, has failed to blossom despite a promising start that saw the youngster draw comparison with the likes of Allan Okello who have since moved to play abroad.
His peer lifestyle will be the one to blame and a loan at Express never produced expected results.
Recently, Tito Okello also left Vipers after negotiations to renew contract fell through and the lanky forward is reportedly chasing a deal outside the border.
