Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka FC have unveiled 22-year old midfielder Atibuni Kennedy as their latest Signing.
Atibuni becomes the third addition for the West Nile-based side who earlier confirmed signing Musema Bony and Jerry Jakisa.
The Midfielder joins from regional league side Diamond Stars FC on a 3-year permanent deal, Onduparaka has said.
He is a former captain of Arua Public S.S in a school that also had former Onduparaka players like Mohammad Shaban and Andama Denis Koko.
Onduparaka coach Vialli Bainomugisha says that his new signing has alot to prove and offer to the caterpillars ahead of the season.
“We know we have attacking Midfielders in the team but adding more gives us added advantage and each of them including Kennedy have a lot to prove and offer our team this coming season,” Bainomugisha told Onduparaka website.
“We all hope he will fit in the boots of some of the big attacking Midfielders this club has had.”
After finishing eighth last season, Onduparaka will be hoping for a better placement ahead of the 2020/21 season which is scheduled to kick off on October 17, 2020.
Onduparaka has lost Muhamood Hassan (Police), Sabir Andama (Dove All Stars) and Abel Eturude (Express) while Ezra Bida has reportedly joined Kyetume FC.
