Reports: Ismaily Will Not Retain Striker Patrick Kaddu

Patrick Kaddu’s stay at Egyptian Premier League side Ismaily FC has come to an end.

The Club will not make the move permanent after his his loan spell ended on June 30, reports indicate.

Kaddu joined on loan from Morocco’s RS Berkane with an option to buy, in January this year.

“Ismaily did not activate the option to buy the player,” a source in Egypt has reported.

Kaddu has only played two competitive games at the Egyptian club after the football activities were altered due to Covid19 pandemic.

He leaves the club with one goal he scored in a league game against Allan Kyambadde’s El Gouna.

He had five barren months with RS Berkane and its not known whether the Moroccan club will find a place for him in the squad for next season.

Unconfirmed reports have it that Kaddu has been in Uganda during this lockdown period.

Kaddu scored the goal that took Uganda Cranes to 2019 AFCON on November 17 2018 in a 1-0 against Cape Verde. He also scored Cranes’ first goal at the tourney, in a 2-0 win against DR Congo.

The striker won UPL and Uganda Cup in 2018, joined KCCA FC in 2017 after spells with Maroons FC and Kiira Young.
