Police FC attacking midfielder Ruben Kimera has extended his stay for more two years, the Club has announced on Saturday.
Police has said that Kimera’s contract had expired before it was renewed.
Kimera had a poor spell last season with Police, managing only two assists and no goal in the league.
The scoring burden was carried by Ben Ocen (12), Samson Kigozi (5), Pius Kagwa (4) and Derrick Kakooza (4) last season.
“I feel so good for renewing my contract. I’m ready to work hard for the team and I’m hoping for the best this coming season,” Kimera is quoted by Police FC media.
“I hope to score and create more goals compared to the previous seasons.”
Coached by Abdallah Mubiru, Police FC have acquired Tonny Mawejje, Eric Ssenjobe, Arnold Ssembuya, Muhamood Hassan and Tom Ikara.
Kimera is the ninth player to renew his stay at Police after Joseph Ssentume, Edward Kiryowa, Joseph Odong, Musa Matovu, Mubarak Nsubuga, Yusuf Ssozi, Denis Rukundo and Bashir Kabuye.
