Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers have confirmed exit of 13 players ahead of the 2020/21 season.
The list includes players who have seen off their contracts to the end while others have “mutually” agreed termination of their contracts.
Notably, Abram Ndugwa and Frank Zaga Tumwesigye have not been included on the list as earlier reported.
Brian Kalumba has been sent out on loan, not included on the 13.
Last season’s top scorer Steven Mukwala who was on loan at Maroons leads the pack leaving Kitende alongside long serving players in Brian Nkuubi and Dan Birikwalira.
“The Club wishes all the departing players the best of luck at their next destinations and thank them for what they have done at Kitende,” reads a statement on the club website.
In preparation for next season, the Venoms have signed Disan Galiwango (Express), Ibrahim Orit (Mbarara City), Jamil Kalisa (Bright Stars) and David Bagoole (Busoga United).
