Here is the breakdown

SportsNation: Who is the best player player you have played with?

Mahad: Nelson Senkatuka. He was my captain at Bright Stars and he was outstanding. We looked to him in case the team needed a goal. He was a leader on the pitch and also made my work easy as a midfielder because he never wasted chances.

SportsNation: Toughest player played against
Mahad: Mustapha Mujuzi and Steven Luswata. Mujuzi is a very hard tackler and no nonsense player. And Steven Luswata is so tough, hard to beat and he also tackles.

SportsNation: Best manager played under?
Mahad: Fred Kajoba. He has been like a father to me. He also motivated me, he keeps telling me that I have the ability to be the best. I have been injured but he still cares to know how I am doing.

SportsNation: Favorite game ever played?
Mahad: Many games but I think I will go with Onduparaka Vs Water FC in the FUFA Big League, I was still with Water FC. I scored and made two assists though we lost the game. But I think that game made Onduparaka to sign me.

SportsNation: Football Heroes when growing?
Mahad: I looked up to Steven Bengo and Lionel Messi. I fancy Bengo a lot. His dribbles, technique, power, he was a beauty to watch.
And Lionel Messi that’s why my friend call me Messi because am also left footed and I can dribble past opponents hahaha though not on his level.

SportsNation: Anything strange you will never forget in your football career?
Mahad: I think losing to Proline in the Uganda Cup final in Masaka, I can’t forget that moment, it hurts me so much. Then Worst moment is getting injured, we had gone to Fort Portal to play Uganda Cup quarter final and I fractured my knee.

Proline FC finished as runners up in Uganda Cup

SportsNation: Craziest teammate ever played with?
Mahad: All Goalkeepers, I think it’s in their gene to be crazy. Seguya Pico at Water FC and Tamale Simon at Bright Stars FC.
