Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka FC has confirmed appointing Dan Obote as the club’s chief scout for Lango and North Eastern region.
The Caterpillars revealed the news via their official club website and confirmed that Obote has been instrumental in the acquisition of five new signings.
These include Augustine Akoch, Opiyo Nelson, Emmanuel Odur, Okech Emmanuel and Okello Jasper.
He holds a coaching qualifications in FUFA beginners, Level D and CAF C Coaching license
Obote is a retired professional Uganda Cranes international who also featured for the U-20 (Hippos) and U-23 (Kobs).
He featured for for URA, SC Villa, Boroboro FC, Rayon Sports (Rwanda), Vasco Da Gama, FC Cape Town and Ikapa Sporting (South Africa).
