Onduparaka FC Signs Former Busoga United Player

West Nile Giants Onduparaka FC have officially unveiled goalkeeper Augustine Opoka.

Opoka has signed a two-year contract for the Caterpillars, the club announced on Saturday.

He joins as a free agent after his contract with Busoga United FC expired.

He failed to command a starting place at Busoga United FC last season when he was below Rogers Omedwa and Ali Kimera in the pecking order.

At Onduparaka, he will have to fight with Yusuf Wasswa who enjoyed more time in goal last season as the team finished 8th with 31 points.

He has previously played for Spartans FC, Kamwokya and Kampala University FC (University Football League). Opoka was linked to a move to Bright Stars FC.
