Jackson ‘Mia Mia’ Mayanja is set to leave Kyetume FC following disagreements with the club management, The-SportsNation sources have learnt.
Mayanja served the club as a head coach as the side got promoted before he was turned into a manager.
The management recently named Mayanja as a technical director.
A source at the club has stated that Mayanja has a two-year running contract as a head coach, with one year remaining to expiry.
The club cannot hence forward newly appointed Livingston Mbabazi’s name to FUFA as the head coach.
Earlier, Mayanja and the club management agreed to terminate his contract but the coach was paid Sh5m of the agreed Sh20m.
“He never signed the appointment letter to be the Technical director and he wants a way out,” a source further hinted to The-SportsNation.
Next season, if the two parties come to an understanding, Mbabazi will work as the head coach and will be assisted by Baker Kasule and Yusuf Ssenyonjo.
