KCCA FC: Mazengo Laments Saddam Juma’s Departure

KCCA FC’s new signing Stefan Mazengo Loro has expressed his sorrow after the club released Saddam Juma.

KCCA FC did not renew Juma’s contract after expiry as the midfielder’s injury-laden spell at Lugogo came to an end this week.

Mazengo who played with Juma during their early days at Kampala Kids League (KKL), felt hard done by the decision as he had hoped for a reunion.

“Would have loved to play by your (Juma) side for even just one game, with our brother Gift Ali conducting the dance from behind,”

Mazengo tweeted

“Good luck in your next adventure papa, I’m sure we’ll cross paths again soon enough! #KKLbrotherhood ⚽️⚽⚽️.”

What Mazengo wished

Mazengo signed a three-year contract before he was unveiled on June 28.

Born in Kenya, the Italian came in Uganda in 2006 where he managed to play at KKL with Juma, Gift, Maxine Van Pee among others until 2009.

He holds a Masters in Sports Business and Management at Sheffield Hallam University.
