Uganda Cranes left back cum winger Joseph Benson Ochaya has extended his stay in DR Congo.
Ochaya has renewed his contract with TP Mazembe for the next two years until 2022.
“TPM is pleased to announce the extension of Joseph Benson OCHAYA’s contract for two more seasons, until September 2022,”reads part of the statement from the club website.
Ochaya and the club management agreed on the new deal on Sunday, September 6 before an official announcement was made.
Ochaya joined TP Mazembe from Zambian side Lusaka Dynamos in 2018, signing a two-and-half-year contract.
The former KCCA FC and Asante Kotoko player who, has played 32 times (with 2 goals and 4 assists).
The side, that has won the CAF Champions League five times (1967, 1968, 2009, 2010, 2015), has also signed young defender Magloire Tambwe Kalonji on a five-year deal.
