Lawrence Bukenya: KCCA FC Confirms Another Departure

KCCA FC have continued to organise their squad in preparation for the 2020/21 season that is expected to kickoff on October 17, 2019.

The Club has confirmed departure of central midfielder Lawrence Bukenya.

The development was confirmed by KCCA FC head of communications Moses Magero Mwanje on Sunday night during the club’s weekly show on Sanyuka TV.

Bukenya joined KCCA FC in 2017 and leaves after winning two Uganda Premier League titles.

He joins Wakiso Giants FC where he spent his time on loan last season.

In an Interview with The-SportsNation earlier, Bukenya expressed his desire to have more playing time.

At KCCA, despite the departure of Jackson Nunda, Mike Mutyaba, Muzamir Mutyaba, Allan Okello among others, coach Mike Mutebi believes that Bukenya has no place at Lugogo.

In the ongoing transfer, Wakiso Giants who added coach Douglas Bamweyana, have so far signed Edward Satulo, Pius Kaggwa, Ibrahim Owen Kasule and Tom Masiko.
