Onduparaka Ordered To Pay Bright Stars 5m Over Contractual Dispute

Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has ordered Onduparaka to pay Sh5m to Bright Stars over “contractual dispute” of Remex Kasozi.

Kasozi joined Onduparaka from Bright Stars in September 2018 for a fee of Sh10m, the amount which was not paid by the club.

Since then, Bright Stars FC have forwarded similar complaints to FUFA seeking for intervention.

In a statement released by FUFA on Tuesday, FUFA has asked Uganda Premier League to deduct Sh5m from Onduparaka.

“The Dispute Resolution Chamber rules that: The Settlement agreement executed by rights and Onduparaka FC is her by ratified by the Chamber and its terms incorporated in the decision,” reads a statement from the Federation.

“Startimes Uganda Premier League is directed to deduct Sh5m from any amounts due to Onduparaka FC and furnish the same to Bright Stars FC as payment for the transfer of Remex Kasozi.”

Kasozi has played for Hope Doves FC, URA, Bright Stars, Onduparaka and Aigle Noir
