Tito Okello In As Gor Mahia Kicks Off Training

Former KCCA FC and Vipers SC forward Tito Okello was among the players available as Gor Mahia kicked off their training sessions.

Okello, who recently opted to play for South Sudan, joined Gor after ending his spell at Vipers.

Football in Kenya is yet to be given full greenlight to return from the Ministry of Sports.

“Gor Mahia have started training in small groups in anticipation that may be in the next two weeks, the Ministry will allow us to train full time, we hope the Covid19 curve will continue flattening,” said Gor Mahia Secretary General Samuel Ochola as quoted by the club website.

“The team has been doing non-contact training and we have made sure we have items in place to observe the Covid19 protocols.”

Okello is one of the new signings at Gor, a club that was declared as Champions for the 2019/20 season by Football Kenya Federation when the league was ended due to Covid19 pandemic.

Burundian International Jules Ulimwengu, Andrew Malisero (Malawi), Benson Omalla, Bertrand Konfor (Cameroon) and John Ochieng are some of the other new signings at the club.
