Uganda Cranes will face Rwanda in their opening group C game of the CHAN tournament on January 18, according to the fixture seen by this Website.
Uganda will play all her Group C games at the Stade de La Reunification stadium, based in Douala and the team will camp at Residence Falaise, as it stands.
After the Rwanda encounter, Uganda will then face Togo and Morocco on 22nd and 26th respectively.
If the Cranes manage to qualify out of Group C (finish among the top two), will face one of the opponents on group D that has Zambia, Tanzania, Guinea and Namibia in the Quarters on January 31.
The two semis will be played on February 3 before the final on February 7 at Stade Ahmadou in Cameroon capital of Yaounde.
The Cranes missed the inaugural edition in 2009 which was hosted by Ivory Coast, but has since qualified to the subsequent five tourneys – 2011Sudan, 2014 South Africa, 2016 Rwanda, 2018 Morocco and 2020 Cameroon.
Uganda will be hoping for an improved performance after failing to get past the group stages in all their four outings.
In the last edition, in 2018, the Cranes finished third in Group B with just one point below Zambia and Namibia in a pool that also had Ivory Coast.
