Express FC coach Wasswa Bbosa has named Enock Walusimbi the club captain ahead of the 2020/21 season.
The centre back is one of the new signings at Wankulukuku having joined the side on a two-year deal from Bright Stars FC.
“Enock Walusimbi has been a captain everywhere he’s played a feat that speaks volumes about his leadership qualities. The technical team therefore felt the need to select him” Bbosa told Express website.
He will be deputised by goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga and youngster Desmond Kaneene as the third choice captain.
Kaneene, yet to enjoy playing time with the senior side, held the armband for the junior team before his promotion.
Walusimbi has played for Shafranto, Nansana United and Bright Stars and has also featured for Ffumbe Clan in Bika bya Baganda and Buganda Province in the FUFA Drum Tournament.
Last season, Dissan Galiwango was the club captain and has since joined Vipers SC.
Isaac Mutanga, Julius Ntambi, Saddam Juma and Mike Mutyaba have also captained the Red Eagles in recent memory.
