Uganda Cranes team of locally based players will finally leave tonight for their training camp in Dubai, FUFA has confirmed.
“The local based Uganda Cranes players will fly out tonight (9 PM) aboard Emirates Airlines,” FUFA has stated.
The team was initially scheduled to leave on Sunday but were bounced at Entebbe International Airport due to delay in processing the travel entry clearance to Dubai.
The team of locally based players has on Wednesday morning held a light training session at Lugogo.
Eight foreign based players have already arrived in Dubai for the camp, FUFA has added.
These include Jayden Onen, Elvis Bwomono, Bevis Mugabi, Joseph Ochaya, Nicholas Wadada, Allan Kyambadde, Jamal Salim and Farouk Miya.
Derrick Nsibambi pulled out of the camp due to an injury but no replacement will be made.
