Nsibambi Turns Up For Smouha After Cranes Snub

Derrick Nsibambi featured for his Egyptian Club Smouha just days after turning his back on the National team.

The striker declared that he will miss the Cranes camp in Dubai due due to a hamstring injury.

Nsibambi posted: “Am to miss Cranes Dubai camp due to hamstring injury which I got yesterday’s game against Zamalek…”

However, he started for Smouha in a 2-1 win over Al Ittihad before he was taken off in the 90th minute to pave way for Al Terhouni.

Nsibambi has scored three goals in 16 games for Smouha.

He made his international debut for Uganda in 2017 but he has not been a regular since then.

Cranes coach Jonathan Mckinstry had earlier hinted on Nsibambi’s admiration due to a decent shift he had put in for his club, before he was included in the 26-man squad for the camp.
