Zambia coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredejovich said that his side was denied a ‘clear’ goal in the 2-1 away loss to Kenya.

Emmanuel Chaluba’s header was not enough as Zambia’s Chipolopolo succumbed to a loss in an international friendly in Nyayo.

Goals from Cliff Nyakeya and Mwape Tandi (own goal) handed Kenya the victory.

Zambia could have secured a late draw but their goal was not awarded despite video replays showing that the ball had crossed the goal-line.

“If you ask me, that was a goal, a clear goal, because it closed the line, it was a last-minute incidence and I think if we had the VAR, it could have helped a lot, that was a clear goal,” Micho is quoted by Goal.
