FUFA Releases Fixture For League Playoffs

Federation of Uganda Football Association has confirmed fixtures for the playoffs of different league levels.

All games will be played at FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, starting this Month before ending in November.

The Big League playoffs, notably, will kickoff on October 18, 2020.

The Leagues were ended prematurely due to Covid19 pandemic and FUFA recently agreed with clubs to cost share the Covid19 testing fees among other expenses including Accommodation, Feeding, medication etc.

UPDF Football Club (Rwenzori) and MYDA Football Club (Elgon) sportingly qualified for the Uganda Premier League season 2020/2021.

The play-offs Kitara FC v Kataka FC and Kiboga Young FC v Ndejje University FC are set to determine the 3rd team that sportingly qualify to the UPL for the 2020/2021.

The semis will be played on October 19 with the first game between Kitara and Kataka kicking off at 10am. The second semi (Kiboga and Ndejje) will start at 2pm.

The winner of each tie, will face off in the final on October 21.

Kansai Plascon, New Villa, Dove (Rwenzori) and Saviours, Light Secondary School, Katwe United (Elgon) were relegated to regional leagues for the season 2020/2021.

The Regional Playoffs will start in October 22, 2020.
