Asante Kotoko Signs Brazilian Midfielder Fabio Gama

Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko has confirmed signing Brazilian midfielder Fabio Dos Santos Gama.

Gama has signed a two-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors.

He joins as a free agent after ending his stay with Swedish lower division club Jonkoping IF.

Gama, 28, mainly plays as a central midfielder but can play as a striker or left winger.

He has played for Brazil U17 and U20, and featured for clubs like Bahia, Botafogo, ABC before moving to Europe.

The Brazilian becomes the 10th new signing for the Ghanian powerhouses this season who have also signed former Atalanta defender Patrick Asmah.

Kotoko has recently made moves to sign Uganda Cranes players Joel Madondo, Steven Mukwala and Murushid Juuko, the latter has since joined Express FC.

Kotoko has won the Ghana Premier League a record 23 times and have two CAF Champions League titles to their name.
