Attacking midfielder Brian Nkuubi has joined URA FC as the club strengthens their squad ahead of the Uganda Premier League next season.
Nkuubi joins the Tax Collectors on a 3-year deal, URA FC has announced.
He was recently released by from Vipers SC where he had spent a five-year spell.
He has been linked with a move to Wakiso Giants and SC Villa before opting for Sam Ssimbwa’s charges.
“I’ve seen a lot of good players at URA FC and I expect competition for positions. I have enough experience and I feel I can add a lot to the club in the coming season,” Nkuubi is quoted by the club website.
“I want to continue playing at a high level and compete with the best on the title and the club seems on the right path to provide that.
“This will give me more exposure as a player. The fans should expect hard work from me.”
He is the latest addition for a club that finished fifth last season – other new signings include Hannington Ssebwalunyo, Arafat Galiwango, Davis Ssali and Jackson Nunda.
URA FC, who has won the league four times, is still expected to unveil Farouk Katongole.
