FUFA Orders Kyetume FC To Pay Player Sh2.76m

The FUFA Dispute Resolution Chamber has ordered Kyetume FC to pay winger Ibrahim Kazindula his outstanding arrears.

Kazindula is demanding Kyetume FC Sh2,760,000 after going three months (June, July and August) without receiving his monthly salary.

The club has been given an ultimatum of 30 days to clear the bill and release the player as well.

Decision by FUFA Dispute Resolution Chamber

In consideration of the findings above, the Dispute resolution Chamber hereby orders that;

  1. Kyetume FC pays Ibrahim Kazindula his overdue payables of UGX 2,760,000 (Two Million seven hundred and sixty thousand shillings only) within thirty (30) days from the date of this decision.
  2. Kyetume FC releases Ibrahim Kazindula’s passport to him immediately.
    In the event that the amount due to Ibrahim Kazindula is not paid by Kyetume FC within the stated time limit, the present matter shall be submitted, upon request, to FUFA for further consideration.

Kazindula joined Kyetume FC in September 2018 from Nyamityobora. The slaughters were still in Big League then.

Kazindula is one of the Kyetume FC players that have expressed his grievances over the unpaid dues in the Covid19 era.

Other clubs in Uganda Premier League have faced similar circumstances, with AC Villa another victim when they were ordered to pay Emmanuel Kalyowa Sh11.7m.
