Federation of Uganda Football Association, FUFA, has on Tuesday signed a memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Rujumba family to erect a football stadium in Hoima.
The Rujumba Family, in 2019, donated FUFA 10 acres of land on Hoima-Masindi Road to undertake Football Development Projects.
The two parties signed the MOU on Tuesday at FUFA House in Mengo.
“We are very grateful as FUFA to the Rujumba family for offering us such land but most importantly as people of Bunyoro we are also very grateful to FUFA for finding it worthy to develop a sporting facility in our area,” FUFA Excom member representing Kitara region Rogers Byamukama told FUFA media.
“We hope the facility will go a long way in developing football and sports in general in the greater Kitara region.”
FUFA Stadium in Lugazi (Ongoing feasibility works) and Kadiba Project (Ongoing, Pavilion stand complete) are the current projects FUFA is already working on.
