Express FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa is confident about his teams’ new signings and anticipates a fruitful next season.
The Wankulukuku based side has been a busy side in the transfer market following the signing of over 18 players including the proven defender Murushid Juuko.
“I thank our bosses for the support extended to us in this covid period, they have been able to give us all players we asked without hesitation,” Said Bbosa via Express online TV.
“I argue all fans to be hopeful, this season’s recruitment is going to be fruitful because we have recruitments across all departments on the pitch, we now have young players who can compete.
“Despite Covid situation which led to suspension of public gathering and so training, my players are in good shape with the help of my technical team which I lead, been monitoring these players by giving them individual training programs as you well know that public open trainings are yet to resume and by the time we commence we will be on the right track.”
The tactician says that his target is winning trophies at Express and expressed extra confidence in the latest signing of a professional defender,Murushid Juuko who last played in Uganda premier league six years ago with Victoria University FC.
“Our targets haven’t changed, and in three years we will at least win a trophy for Express as we promised when getting this job, and our bosses know about it because Express is here to compete and that’s what its known for, to be victorious.”
“And we are so greatful for players like Murushid Jjuuko who adds a lot on our defence especially in experience and confidence because every other team is built starting from the defense.”
The sixth time uganda premier league champions finished 9th with 31 point when the season was ended prematurely.
