Milton Kariisa Expresses Readiness For Cranes Chance

Vipers winger Milton Kariisa dares to make it count if he gets the chance to be in the final Uganda Cranes squad to face South Sudan.

The Cranes will face South Sudan in AFCON qualifiers doubleheader – Uganda hosts The Bright Stars on November 12th at Kitende before a return leg in Kenya four days later.

Kariisa is among the 22 UPL players currently in camp.

Coach Jonathan McKinstry is expected to pick five or six players to join the initial summoned squad of the 20 foreign based players.

“If God helps me get that chance, I will really be happy and I will make sure that I use it very well,” said kalisa after Thursday training at Lugogo.

“I know everybody is working hard, the competition is too high but I think its the same case in every team, so you just have to work hard as you keep praying to God for everything to work in place.”

Kariisa last appeared in Cranes jersey in January 2018 in CHAN competition hosted in Morocco.

Its from there when he scooped a deal to join Morocco’s Mouloudia Oujda from Vipers SC where he featured in 22 games in almost 2 seasons, scoring only 4 goals before coming back to Vipers in February this year.

He is among other attackers on the team alongside Orit Ibrahim (Vipers Sc), Mukwala Steven (URA FC) and Aheebwa Brian (KCCA FC)
