Women Super League side team, the Lady Doves, has strengthened their squad with four new signings.
These include Fatuma Nakasumba from Kampala Queens, Rashida Nankya from Uanda Martyrs Rubaga, Vicky Ajwang from Lango Queens and a 15-year old Margaret Namande from Kakiri in Wakiso.
The four players have all inked three years on their respective contracts which will see them at the club till 2023.
“Lady doves is pleased to announce the signing of four players which will feature for the club with the effect from season. 2020/2021,” the club announced on Sunday.
“The arrival of the four players is part of the club’s strategy to attain competitive edge on national scene and on the ground.”
The Masindi-based side is currently managed by Fred Musiime as the interim coach who replaced John Ongodia.
Lady Doves finished fourth on the log with 13 points after the league was declared null and void due to pandemic Covid 19.
