Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have been pitted against Sudanese giants Al Hilal in the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
This, is after the draw conducted by CAF in a closed Zoom meeting on Monday in Cairo.
The tie pits together Vipers with a familiar face of Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Salim Jamal Magoola who plies his trade with the Sudanese outfits.
The sides will face off in the first leg on November 27-29 before a return leg in December 4-6, 2020.
Winner of the tie will face victor between Ghana’s Asante Kotoko and Mauritania’s Nouadhibou in the second round, for a place in the lucrative group stages.
Vipers return to Champions League for the first time since they were eliminated by CS Constantine in 2018.
