Kenya will on Wednesday play host to Comoros in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification Group G encounter at MISC Kasarani stadium.

The Harambee Stars will be searching for their first win of the campaign after one-all draws off Egypt and Togo.

The side, looking for back to back AFCON finals appearance, will be under new coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee who replaced Francis Kimanzi recently.

“Despite the delays caused by the COVID-19 restrictions, I believe we have trained sufficiently for the AFCON qualifier match and I hope that we will attain a positive result,” Coach Mulee told FKF website.

Kenya shot stopper Arnold Origi believes that Comoros is “a team worth looking out for” but is confident that they have prepared very well for a positive result.

Comoros, Les Coelacantes as nicknamed, top the group after a win against Togo and a goalless draw at home to Egypt last year.

They hence lead the group with four points.

The sides will meet again on November 15 in Moroni at the Stade Ominisports.
