Uganda Cranes forward Alexis Bakka has pulled out of the team that will face South Sudan in a doubleheader.

The Swedish-based forward was among the 20 foreign based players summoned by McKinstry but has not honoured the invite after a reported injury.

Bakka is the third player to pull out from the initial 20, after Alex Kakuba who tested positive for Covid19 and Uche Ikpeazu Mubiru who got injured with his side Wycombe Wanderers.

Bakka was part of Cranes squad that played against Burkina Faso last year.

He had earlier missed out of Sebastien Desabre’s final squad to play in the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.

Edirisa Lubega, Kizito Luwagga, Ronald Mukiibi and Joseph Ochaya have all reported in camp.

The Cranes will conduct their last training on Wednesday at 10am at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende before the Thursday game.
