Jonathan Mckinstry has named the Uganda Cranes starting XI to face South Sudan at St Mary’s stadium, Kitende.

Its a debut for right back Elvis Bwomono who plies his trade at English Side Southend United FC, the defender has been given a nod ahead of Nicholas Wadada.

Captain Denis Onyango starts in the post while TP Mazembe’s Joseph Ochaya is at left back.

Timothy Awany partners Ronald Mukiibi of Sweden’s Ostersunds FK.

Khalid Aucho and Mike Azira are in the middle of the park while Derrick Nsibambi gets a nod over Fahad Bayo.
