Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Anele Ngcongca has passed away, reports in South Africa have confirmed.
The right back has perished in a Car accident on Monday morning at KwaZulu-Natal.
Ngcongca, born October 21, 1987, was 33 at the time of his death.
He started out at FC Fortune before joining Genk in Belgium.
He was loaned at Troyes in France and later returned to South Africa where he signed for Sundowns.
At Masandawana, he won three league titles – 2017/18, 2018/19 and 2019/20 before signing for Amazulu this year
He has represented the Bafana Bafana on 53 occasions since 2009.
