KCCA FC will be without midfielder Gift Ali when they take on Mbarara City FC on Matchday three of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Club coach Mike Mutebi has confirmed the developments in the Thursday press briefing.

Gift Ali, who was unused substitute in their opener at Kavumba against Bright Stars FC, was taken off as a caution in the later stages of the KCCA 8-0 win over Onduparaka FC on Tuesday.

He was replaced by Italian Stefano Mazengo Loro who is expected to start in the midfielder against Mbarara City FC.

Two youngsters Joseph Kafumbe and Bukenya Joseph, who were part of the Uganda Hippos team that won the CECAFA U20 Championship in Tanzania, return and are available for selection.

Mutebi added that Musa Ramathan, Bright Anukani and Steven Sserwadda are sidelined.

Other longterm absentees include Julius Poloto and John Revita.

The ‘Kasasiro’ Boys lead the log with six points while Mbarara City who lost 3-0 to SC Villa have collected one point from two games.
