SC Villa scored a goal in each half to hand KCCA FC their first league loss of the season at Bombo Barracks ground.
Goals from Nicholas Kabonge and Ronald Ssekiganda gave a Villa a 2-1 victory, with Brian Aheebwa bringing one back for the visitors who saw their unbeaten run end on match-day four.
Villa, coming into the game on the back of a 2-1 loss to URA, had earlier attempts on goal through Nicholas Kabonge who had his efforts wide before breaking the deadlock in the 32nd minute with a powerful strike outside the box.
Wasswa had his strike kept out by Charles Lukwago while Isaac Ogwang was presented with a best chance to double the lead but looped over the frame with a keeper-to-beat.
KCCA came close to equalizing the tie but Sam Ssenyonjo, who has scored five goals, was denied by Meddie Kibirige.
With five minutes towards the end, Ronald Ssekiganda benefited from sloppiness in KCCA defence who failed to clear away substitute Benson Muhindo’s delivery, to weakly send a volley in at tight angle past a helpless Lukwago.
Aheebwa pumped life into the tie with a consolation thereafter from a penalty spot after he was brought down in the area.
KCCA FC remain on nine points from four games, and lose their top spot to Police FC who beat Busoga United.
The Jogoos have seven points, having picked their second win of the campaign.
KCCA FC host rivals URA FC on match-day 5 while Villa face traditional rivals Express FC on matchday 5.
