Kenyan representatives at the CAF Champions League suffered a heavy defeat in the hands of Algerian side CR Belouizdad.
The K’Ogalo lost 6-0 in the first leg played on Saturday at Stade 20 Aout in Algiers.
Amir Sayoud scored a hat-trick with his first goal coming in the seventh minute of the game.
Hamza Bellahouel, Larbi Tabti and Maecky Ngombo added one each for a side that led 4-0 at halftime break.
Gor have failed to get things going in the CAF Champions League in recent memory since they reached the 1992 Quart finals.
The build up to the game was all shambles after the Kenyan side had failed to make the trip as the Algeria space was closed.
They later made the 12-hour trip that saw the team travel from Nairobi to Doha (Qatar) before connecting to Algiers by chattered plane organized by the Algerian Governments Authorities.
However, they missed some of the key players including Nicholas Kipkirui and Kenneth Muguna.
Gor who eliminated APR of Rwanda to reach this stage, have a huge mountain to climb if they are to overturn the 6-0 deficit when they meet the Algerian side in the return leg on January 5-6, 2021.
Winner on aggregate reach the lucrative Champions League groups.
