KCCA FC forward Brian Aheebwa headlines the three nominees for Pilsner Uganda Premier League Player of the month of December.
The other nominees areUPDF’s Brian Kalumba, and Police’s Ben Ocen.
Aheebwa who joined the Kasasiro Boys from Mbarara, has netted 7 goals in five games including four past Onduparaka.
Kalumba, on loan from Viper SC, has bagged five including four against Kitara FC.
Police FC forward Ben Ocen has so far scored six goals out of the eleven the club has managed in five games.
The six goals for Ocen include a hat-trick against Kitara where he was named pilsner man of the match and a brace against MYDA FC in their match-day 3.
Among the competitors, its only Ocen who has been nominated in these award before, the latest being early this year in January last season, where he was nominated alongside URA’s Cromwell who took the award and Saidi Kyeyune.
The awards were last held in March, awarding February’s best performer where Kyetume FC’s Robert Ssentongo emerged the winner beating his teammate Joel Mutakubya and Busoga’s David Bagole then.
